Join us for a day filled with engaging sessions, networking opportunities, and the chance to collaborate with peers passionate about shaping exceptional study abroad programs. Designed for faculty members running Tulane international programs in 2024. Embark on a transformative journey of knowledge and expertise at our Faculty-led Study Abroad Training for Faculty and Staff. Scheduled for March 8, 2024, this full-day conference is a unique opportunity for faculty and staff to delve into the best practices for running and enhancing study abroad programs.

Session 1: Health and Safety Training for Tulane-Run Programs


Speaker: Wade Wootan and Ana Villar

Explore best practices and essential guidelines to ensure the well-being of students participating in Tulane-Run programs by learning Tulane’s comprehensive health and safety protocols.

Session 2: Developing Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive Faculty-led Programs

Uncover strategies to create faculty-led programs that embrace diversity, promote equity, and foster inclusivity.

Session 3: Guiding Intercultural Learning on Short Term Study Abroad Programs
